Beautiful campsite with the most stunning views. We pitched our tent and it was down at the back of the campsite with a gorgeous view of the mountains.
Positive:
The place is really nice with a great view. A lot of hike options can be done (the one we did was to La Magdalene and then to Chamois which was really nice, easy and took around 6 hours to go there and get back calmly).
My girlfriend and I found the restaurant really nice and the food really tasty. I would appreciated it more if there was more cheese in the polenta, but it was tasty anyway.
The new waitress (a blonde girl, sorry we did not ask for her name) was extremely nice and she made this experience much more enjoyable, so a special thanks just for her.
Also the staff was really nice and friendly, and they managed to satisfy our requests and be always available.
Negative:
The place was full of permanent parked caravans, which ruins the view and the atmosphere in this amazing place!!
Definitely do NOT go for the "standard bungalow" since it doesn't deserve your money: highly expensive for a small place and with the view of a caravan parked in front of your window!! Just go for the suites in case you want to have a view to the mountains, otherwise you will be disappointed.
And the most important thing, it's written on their site that they are "pet friendly", but in reality you can get them only if you get a bigger room (like a way to force you to upgrade your room), which is not fair at all. Their were no carpets or anything at the floors in the standard bungalow, so there is no excuse for not allowing the dogs in there!!
And finally, in order to get in the swimming pool and the sauna, you need to pay an extra of 10€/person for an hour, which in my opinion is really expensive!!
The website and hotel.com advertises this place as a relaxing bungalow and spa in the mountains. Instead, you are surrounded by permanently parked trailers and an indoor pool with the echoing sound of children. The bungalow and the “spa” was WAY overpriced for the trailer park location. The restaurant was large portions, but super salty and drenched in grease.
Definitely NOT recommended for couples
I love this place. Great value. Quiet but close enough to access the ski slopes. You need a car. Good restaurant and a pool, hot tub, sauna (costs extra though).
Unfortunately I did not even get the chance to check the resort, as I was kindly irritated by them way before my actual stay. The problem arises when the card on Booking was the wrong one and failed. After not even 1 day they rang me (work time) to tell me my credit card was declined (even though Booking kindly remind me about this problem). Then again, on second day called twice while having a meeting at work, nevertheless I rejected the call, they did it again. To be honest, it started out as a problem I had to fix, however the fact they turned up worse than a telemarketing company really threw me off from ever visiting them. Compared to other Swiss resorts where it happened something similar a year ago, they did not care and kindly sent me an e-mail if I saw that Booking did not accept the card. Definitely not disturbing me in a marketing way.
Small cottages, smaller than on the photos, pourly equipped cottages. Be aware.
I really enjoyed the this quiet place,
Great little spot in the mountains! Restaurant also really good. If they have the chestnut gnocchi, you should probably get the chestnut gnocchi.
